AssetTiger is built and run by the team behind MyAssetTag.com, the largest online retailer of asset tags. We built the software because our tag customers needed something better than a $3,000-a-year system to go with a $100 set of labels.

Our story
We backed into asset tracking software by accident.
For over 25 years, MyAssetTag.com has made and sold barcode labels, QR codes, and metal asset tags to hundreds of thousands of organizations worldwide. NASA has used our tags. So have schools in rural Montana and hospitals in Singapore.
The problem we kept hearing: customers would spend $3,000 or more on asset tracking software, then skimp on the tags and buy cheap labels that fell off or faded. That seemed backwards to us.
So in 2013 we built AssetTiger, gave it away free to our tag customers, and kept improving it based on what those 30,000+ organizations actually needed. Today it's a full platform with barcode scanning, check-in/out, maintenance scheduling, inventory management, depreciation, contracts, an REST API, and 80+ built-in report types.
